From 12 March to 10 July at Victoria & Albert museum ( London ), takes place Yohji Yamamoto's exhibition. This exhibiton explores the work of this designer, man of talent. Over 60 creations are houses. Thanks to this event, we can see the knowledge in fashion history, the sense of humour that Yamamoto threw in his creations. The japanese designer has the merit of challenging traditional notions of fashion using innovative materials like felt and neoprene or creating clothes that seemed unfinished and oversized.

Animalier print for Roberto Cavalli Easter-eggs
Hi! Easter-day is coming and this year for this occasion, some designers like Roberto Cavalli and Giorgio Armani created these Easter-eggs, that perfectly reflect their style.
Thanks to these sweet creations, fashion-flavour union reveals to have success.
The print effect is the result of the use of different chocolates. Obviously the gadget is Roberto Cavalli's surprise.

I'm in love with every single Elie Saab 's collection : every gown, every cloth are items of elegance.
A lot of celebrities wore his creations: this year at Academy Awards, Mila Kunis was gorgeous in one of the Haute couture spring/summer 2011's dress. Halle Berry wore for the same event in 2002 a creation of this genius Lebanese designer.
Enjoy this video that includes a lot of Elie Saab's masterpieces.

Little story of trench coat.
The trench coat is a raincoat made of waterproof heavy-duty cotton drill or wool gabardine or leather.
It is usually knee-lenght. This article of clothing has military origins : it was developed as an alternative to the heavy serge greatcoats worn by British and French soldiers in the First World War.
Burberry and Aquascutum are the first brands that produced the trench.
During the second World War, not only British soldiers wore this cloth but also the United States and Soviet Union , France, Germany, Holland..
In the decades following second World War, trench coat is became fashionable overcoat and is worn by men and women.
The typical trench coat has cuff straps on the raglan sleeves, shoulder straps and a belt. The colours are beige, khaki and black. It is perfect for summer, for rainy days but in winter it doesn't protect the body from the cold.

Today we talk about one of the most important fashion icons: Diana Vreeland.
She was a fashion editor. She worked for the fashion magazines Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of art. Her mother was a socialite, descendent of George Washington's brother.
Her publishing career began in 1937 as columnist for Harper's Bazaar ( the column was called " Why don't you ? ) . In 1961, Vreeland became Vogue's editor-in-chief until 1971. She ispired a lot of designers, she knew art and costume's history. She was a very elegant woman: simple but at the same time refined style. Diana thought that style is innate. A lot of quotes refer Diana's thought.
